The Wildfire Season

by Andrew Pyper

A signed Canadian first edition, first printing of The Wildfire Season by Andrew Pyper, published in hardcover by HarperCollins Publishers Ltd in 2005. The copyright page states First Edition and carries the complete number line ending in 1. Andrew Pyper has flat signed the title page without a visible inscription.

Set in the remote Yukon community of Ross River, the novel follows Miles McEwan, a scarred and emotionally isolated fire chief whose past returns just as a deliberately ignited wildfire threatens the wilderness around him. The story blends literary fiction, psychological suspense, survival drama, mystery, and elements of the supernatural as Miles confronts the advancing fire, a dangerous human adversary, and the unexpected arrival of his former girlfriend and a daughter he did not know he had.

The Wildfire Season was selected as one of the best books of 2005 by The Globe and Mail, The Vancouver Sun, and the Calgary Herald. This collectible copy includes its dust jacket and bears the signature of its Canadian author.

Seller-graded Very Good. The dust jacket displays light edge and corner wear, including wear near the spine ends, and faint gray smudging or marks are visible on the copyright page. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description and show the actual copy being offered.
