Bleeding Blue

by Wendel Clark

Bleeding Blue: Giving My All for the Game is Wendel Clark’s hockey memoir, written with Jim Lang. Clark recounts his path from small-town Saskatchewan and junior hockey to an NHL career that made him one of the most recognizable and admired Toronto Maple Leafs players of his era.

The book covers his development as a player, international competition, selection first overall by Toronto, his years as Maple Leafs captain, the physical demands of his style of play, injuries, trades, and life after professional hockey. It is illustrated with photographs, including colour images of Clark’s early teams and career.

This is the November 2016 first Canadian hardcover edition and first printing from Simon & Schuster Canada, complete with dust jacket. The copy is signed by Wendel Clark in black ink. The signature photograph is tightly cropped, so any accompanying inscription or personalization is not fully legible.

Very Good overall as graded by the seller, with light shelf and edge wear visible on the dust jacket and a small nick or rubbed spot near the lower-left area. The representative interior spread pictured appears clean and displays the book’s photographic content. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
