Laying It on the Line

Signed first-edition, first-printing hardcover copy of Laying It on the Line: Driving a Hard Bargain in Challenging Times by Buzz Hargrove, published in Canada by HarperCollins in 2009. The complete 9 through 1 number line confirms the first printing, and the title page is signed in ink by Hargrove.

Hargrove, who led the Canadian Auto Workers from 1992 to 2008, draws on his experience in collective bargaining and Canadian manufacturing to examine the auto-industry crisis, corporate decision-making, government policy, and the effect of boardroom negotiations on working people. The book was selected as a finalist for Canada's National Business Book Award.
