Coach: The Pat Burns Story by Rosie DiManno, published by Doubleday Canada in 2012. This hardcover first printing retains its dust jacket and has been signed and personally inscribed by DiManno to Joanne with “All the best.” The signature is the author's; the book is not represented as signed by Pat Burns.

DiManno's biography follows Burns from his early life and work as a police officer through his rise behind NHL benches in Montreal, Toronto, Boston and New Jersey. Burns led the New Jersey Devils to the 2003 Stanley Cup and remains the only three-time winner of the Jack Adams Award as NHL coach of the year. He was inducted posthumously into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 2014.

The book is illustrated with historical photographs, including the black-and-white family image shown. This is the original Canadian hardcover edition, ISBN 9780385676366, with a complete number line ending in 1 to indicate a first printing.
