Amir Tibon (born February 11, 1989) is an award-winning Israeli journalist, author, and senior writer for Haaretz whose political reporting and deeply personal historical chronicles have garnered international attention. Throughout his distinguished career with Israel's paper of record, he has served in pivotal editorial roles, including as the newspaper’s diplomatic correspondent, a senior editor for its English edition, and a Washington, D.C.-based foreign correspondent. Tibon first gained prominence as a non-fiction author by co-writing The Last Palestinian: The Rise and Reign of Mahmoud Abbas (2017), which stands as the first comprehensive English-language biography of the Palestinian Authority leader.
