The Mystery Guest: A Maid Novel
Signed Indigo Exclusive Edition of The Mystery Guest: A Maid Novel by Nita Prose, published in softcover by Viking/Penguin Canada in 2023. This Canadian first edition and first printing has the complete number line ending in 1 and is flat signed by Nita Prose in blue ink without a visible inscription. The exclusive edition includes bonus Molly the Maid content and a message for Indigo readers.
The second Molly the Maid mystery can also be read as a standalone novel. Head maid Molly Gray faces another puzzle at the Regency Grand Hotel when celebrated mystery writer J. D. Grimthorpe dies in the hotel tearoom. The investigation draws Molly into the guests’ secrets, the available clues and an unexpected connection to her own past.
The Mystery Guest won the 2024 Crime Writers of Canada Whodunit Award for Best Traditional Mystery. This collectible edition combines the award-winning novel with an author signature, exclusive content and first-printing status.
Very Good overall, with light shelf rubbing, minor surface scuffs and modest edge and corner wear visible on the cover. A few tiny specks are visible around the signed page. The photographed copyright and author-biography pages appear clean and legible. This is a softcover with French flaps and no dust jacket; it is now protected by clear removable plastic. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
