A signed first-edition, first-printing softcover copy of Selected Columns from Canadian Living by celebrated Canadian writer and broadcaster Peter Gzowski, published by McClelland & Stewart in 1993. This copy is personally inscribed “To Gary” and signed by Gzowski on the title page.
The book gathers Gzowski's Canadian Living magazine columns from 1989 through 1993. Written with his characteristic warmth and humour, the pieces consider everyday Canadian experiences, family, friendship, travel, food, gardening, recreation and his life as a public broadcaster. The volume is complemented by wood engravings by Gérard Brender à Brandis.
The softcover book is in good used condition. Staining is present at the page edges, with some localized discoloration near the outer edge of the title-page area, and the covers show light handling and edge wear. No dust jacket.
