Beyond Imagination: Canadians Write About the Holocaust is a 1995 anthology edited

Beyond Imagination: Canadians Write About the Holocaust is a 1995 anthology edited by Jerry S. Grafstein, with an afterword by noted historian Alan Bullock. It brings together Canadian literary and personal responses to the Holocaust, including reflections, poetry, fiction and survivor-related narratives that examine memory, loss, responsibility and the continuing consequences of the Holocaust.
The jacket states that most of the works were written especially for this collection. The book was conceived as both a work of remembrance and a Canadian cultural response to the Holocaust, with proceeds from its original sale intended to help endow a Chair in Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto.
This McClelland & Stewart hardcover is a first edition, first printing and retains its dust jacket. It is double signed by Jerry S. Grafstein and Alan Bullock on the title page. A personalized presentation inscription dated 1995 also appears on the page; the recipient's name is not fully legible in the supplied photograph.
The seller grades the copy Very Good. The jacket shows light handling and minor visible edge/corner wear, while the photographed title and copyright pages are intact and legible. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
