The Glass Coffin
A signed first edition, first printing of The Glass Coffin by Gail Bowen, published in hardcover by McClelland & Stewart in 2002. This is the eighth entry in Bowen’s Joanne Kilbourn mystery series and was nominated for the 2002 Regina Book Award.
Joanne is troubled when her friend Jill Osiowy prepares to marry Evan MacLeish, a celebrated but unsettling documentary filmmaker whose two former wives died by suicide. His habit of turning private lives and tragedies into films deepens Joanne’s concern, and the uneasy wedding plans lead into a mystery involving family loyalties, exploitation, suspicion, and violence.
This copy is flat signed by Gail Bowen on the title page, with no dedication or personalization visible. It is a hardcover with dust jacket and is graded Very Good by the seller. The photographed jacket and sampled interior pages appear generally clean and intact, with no conspicuous staining or tearing visible in the displayed areas. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
