Robert Ruark's Africa
Robert Ruark's Africa collects twenty pieces of Ruark's writing on African hunting, wildlife, dangerous game, and the changing continent he encountered during the mid-twentieth century. The selections span the period from the safari that inspired Horn of the Hunter through writing published near the end of his life.
Compiled and annotated by Michael McIntosh, the collection also includes a biographical essay, a map, and original etchings by Bruce Langton. It is a notable volume for readers and collectors of Ruark, classic safari literature, sporting history, and Africana.
This is the 2010 Safari Press hardcover edition with dust jacket, ISBN 9781571573445. The book is new and remains enclosed in its original publisher's seal/shrinkwrap.
