Right Hand Man
Right Hand Man: How Phil Lind Guided the Genius of Ted Rogers, Canada’s Foremost Entrepreneur is Phil Lind and Robert Brehl’s insider account of the personalities, decisions, negotiations, and calculated risks behind the growth of the Rogers communications empire. Lind worked alongside Ted Rogers for approximately four decades and offers a close personal perspective on Canadian cable, telecommunications, media, sports, and corporate history.
Published by Barlow Books in 2018, the book was selected as a finalist for the 2019 National Business Book Award. It provides behind-the-scenes recollections of Rogers’ expansion and Lind’s role as adviser, negotiator, regulator-facing executive, and longtime second-in-command. The volume includes photographic material, with both black-and-white and colour images visible in the photographed interior.
This hardcover copy is signed and inscribed on the title page. The handwriting includes “To John” and “Best regards,” together with signatures apparently corresponding to both Phil Lind and Robert Brehl. The signatures have not been independently authenticated.
The seller grades the book Very Good. It retains its dust jacket, which shows light visible wear near the upper-left edge and corner and is now protected in a removable clear plastic cover. The photographed interior spread appears clean, bright, and clearly legible. The book will be packaged carefully to help protect the jacket, boards, and signed title page in transit.
