the Sages
Toward a Meaningful Life: The Wisdom of the Sages by Simon Jacobson, offered here in the 2002 William Morrow revised new edition. This hardcover sixth printing includes its dust jacket and features deckle-edged pages.
Based on the teachings of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the book considers questions of purpose, relationships, work, suffering, faith, society, and spiritual growth. This revised edition added material addressing upheaval and change, presenting traditional Jewish and Hasidic thought in an accessible form for a broad readership.
This copy is signed by Simon Jacobson on the title page with a personalized presentation inscription reading “To Dr. Robert Miller” and “Best wishes,” followed by the author's large signature. It is an inscribed author-signed copy rather than a flat-signed example.
The pages have toning, as disclosed, and the dust jacket displays scattered small surface marks or speckling, light rubbing or handling wear, and mild wear around the edges and corners. Please review the photographs for the appearance of the jacket, inscription, copyright page, and this specific copy.
