Shadow People

by John Lawrence Reynolds

Signed first-edition, first-printing hardcover of Shadow People: Inside History's Most Notorious Secret Societies by Canadian author John Lawrence Reynolds, published by Key Porter Books in 2006. Reynolds has signed the title page directly, without a visible dedication, and the dust jacket retains its bilingual signed-by-author sticker.

This nonfiction history explores the origins, rituals, symbols, influence, myths and documented activities associated with secret organizations. Its subjects range from the Assassins, Druids, Gnostics, Freemasons and Illuminati to Skull and Bones, the Mafia, Triads and Yakuza, with attention to the line between established history and conspiracy lore. The volume includes bibliographical references and an index.

Reynolds is an award-winning Canadian writer of fiction and nonfiction. His other work has received Arthur Ellis Awards for mystery writing, while Free Rider received the National Business Book Award. Shadow People was subsequently issued under other titles and translated for international publication.

Very Good overall with the dust jacket present. Light handling or edge wear is visible, and the signed-by-author sticker remains affixed to the front jacket. The photographed interior pages appear clean and readable in the areas shown. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
