Morgan Matson (born September 19, 1981), who also publishes under the pseudonym Katie Finn, is an internationally celebrated, New York Times bestselling American young adult and middle-grade novelist whose heartwarming, character-driven summer contemporary romances have earned her a devoted global readership. Born in New York City and raised there alongside Greenwich, Connecticut, she initially studied theater at Occidental College before shifting her focus entirely to literature, later earning an MFA in Writing for Children from The New School and a second MFA in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California.
