Dr. Bruce Fogle MBE is a world-renowned Canadian-born veterinarian, animal welfare advocate, and global bestselling author who has spent over five decades advancing companion-animal care. Born in Toronto and educated at the Ontario Veterinary College, he graduated in 1970 before relocating to England to work at the London Zoo. In 1973, he established his own private practice, which evolved into the prestigious London Veterinary Clinic. Recognized as the world's bestselling practicing vet, Fogle has written more than 40 books on animal health, behavior, and the human-animal bond—including his acclaimed childhood memoir, Barefoot at the Lake—selling over nine million copies translated into dozens of languages.
